Know Me
Wow, I didn’t really think anyone wanted to know anything more about me than what was on that basics list! You are either really bored, or you love me immensely. ^_^
We can start with the basics. I was born in Oklahoma! That’s right, I’m a southern gal. I have the accent and everything. Shocking, no? In any case, I grew up in OK and I loved every minute of it. ^_^ My mom is very nice to me, but she is slightly… emotionally instable. She tends to have many mood swings that hurt my heart. My father is an alcoholic. Enough said there.
Gackt. If you let me, I could go on forever about how much I love that man. I guess I can just start with a few basics, eh? When I was looking up Bansaku from baroque ( which I first saw in the credits of the second volume of The Wallflower ), I ran across a huge list of JRock. I was going to ask for baroque, and I thought I might ask for a couple of others as well, since I was at it. I saw Gackt’s name and thought “Hey! That name is cool! I’ll get those albums!” When I listened to them, I fell in love instantly. The first song I ever heard was Vanilla, and to this day I love it! It was only about 3 months after my initial music exposure that I shared my love with Elandra. She pointed me to a picture or two of her favourites and I nearly died! That began my love of his image. Shortly after that, Katie was telling me how much she loved him because of his believing he was vampire. I wanted to know more about this weirdo personality of his, so I read most of his autobiography. That was when I fell in love with what I thought was him. ^_^
I enjoy reading for fun. There’s just something about sitting down and submerging yourself in a great novel that is appealing. It is like getting away from the hassle of everyday life to join in the adventure of someone else. Particularly, I enjoy fiction of a more morbid side. Vampire novels are amongst my favourite genres.
Manga is also a very fond form of entertainment. I would consider it reading, but it’s almost like watching T.V. My favourite manga include The Wallflower, Mars, Othello, Hana Kimi, Marmalade Boy, Hot Gimmick, and so many more. Those are just a few that I or Megan own together. ^_^
If I told you that I love anime, would you be surprised? I thought not. ^_^ Currently, I am enamored with Bleach, although I couldn’t get into the manga. I own Hellsing on DVD, so ask me anything! I dare you! I have recently finished Air, Paradise Kiss, Ayashi no Ceres, and Blood + ( or the first season of Blood + ). I tend to use torrents quite a bit because I’m poor. –cries-
